May 26, 2016 — Due to overhead bridge work, there will be periodic 20-minute closures on Transylvania Beach Road May 31-June 4 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. Motorists are asked to use caution and drive slowly when driving in the area.
May 26, 2016 –There will be lane restrictions in Indiana on Upper River Road in the vicinity of the East End Crossing construction site May 31- June 4 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. each day. Flaggers will be present during this time to assist in guiding traffic. Motorists are asked to use caution when in the area.
May 26, 2016 — There will be lane restrictions on SR 62 in Indiana in the vicinity of the SR 265 and SR 62 interchange May 31 – June 4 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. each day. The lane restrictions will be in place for about a half mile in each direction of the interchange. Motorists are asked to use caution and drive slowly when driving in the area during this time.
May 26, 2016 — Kentucky: Blasting schedule for week of May 30, 2016: Site blasting is scheduled to occur near the tunnel’s north portal during the week of May 16. These blasts do NOT require traffic stops.
The dates and approximate times (within 20 minutes) will be:
• Tuesday, May 31, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 1, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Thursday, June 2, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Friday, June 3, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
NOTE: A message will be posted on the project website at www.kyinbridges.com Thursday of each week regarding the anticipated blasting schedule for the following week.
