On Monday December 4, 2017 the right shoulder Eastbound on the Lewis and Clark Bridge will be closed between 11 am and 3 pm for routine maintenance activities. Work will be performed from the right shoulder of the road from approximately Mile Marker 38.9 to MM 37.8. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and give work crews plenty of room to work safely.
Beginning Friday December 1st, 2017, the right shoulder of westbound KY 841 over the Lewis and Clark Bridge will be closed for maintenance and inspection of the drainage system. Fridays closure will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. On Saturday and Sunday December 2nd and 3rd, the shoulder will be closed from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The shoulder closure will also be planned to be in place on Monday and Tuesday December 4th and 5th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The right shoulder will be closed each of these dates and times from approximately Mile Marker 37.8 to Mile Marker 38.9 in the westbound direction. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area as equipment and personnel will be working from the shoulder of the roadway. Please give everyone plenty of room for safety.
The shared use path will be closed during daylight hours starting November 27th and will last at least that week for inspection and maintenance of the drainage system. The work will involve large inspection equipment that will take up the width of the path. Public use of the path will be blocked off at either end of the bridges. Citizens are asked to obey the closure for their safety during this work.
On Friday November 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. WVB will close the right should of the ramp from 265 Westbound to State Road 62. Crews will be working on the shoulder in that area for roadside maintenance. Crews and equipment will be present on the shoulder and motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and give the workers plenty of room for safety.
WVB East End Partners will commence roadway shoulder sweeping operations on the evening of November 9, 2017 starting at 7:00 pm. Operations will be conducted between MM 8.78 on Indiana SR 265 and MM 37.8 on Kentucky 841 in both directions of travel and on both sides of the roadway. Work will include the ramps at Exits 10 and 11 in Indiana. Work will conclude by 6:00 am on Friday November 10, 2017.
Personnel and equipment will be present on the inside and outside shoulders of the roadway and therefore, motorists are asked to use caution in the area during the sweeping period.
