Louisville, KY (October 24, 2013) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists that access from eastbound Interstate 64 to the Industrial Park on Bluegrass Parkway will be limited this weekend. The through lanes at Exit 15A will be closed to allow for paving as part of the I-64/Hurstbourne Parkway interchange improvement project. The left and center lanes of Exit 15A are scheduled for closure from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28. Traffic will still be able to use this exit to access southbound Hurstbourne Parkway. Motorists can access Bluegrass Parkway and the Industrial Park from eastbound I-64 by following the signed detour via Exit 15B. They will exit onto southbound Hurstbourne Parkway and then turn left onto Bluegrass Parkway. In addition, lane closures are possible in both directions on Hurstbourne Parkway between Bunsen Parkway and Linn Station Road (mile points 11.4 to 12.2) due to roadway resurfacing.
