Kentucky: Southbound KY 841 traffic to shift left by Thursday, Sept. 22

September 20, 2016 – Southbound traffic on KY 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway) from U.S. 42 to I-71  will shift to the left lane from its current position. The shift is expected to be complete by Thursday, September 22. All ramps and traffic movements will be open during this shift.

Kentucky: Southbound lane of I-71 to close intermittently Sept. 21-24

September 20, 2016 – Due to ongoing construction, a southbound lane of I-71 in the area of KY841 (Gene Synder Freeway) will close intermittently starting 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 21. through Saturday, September 24. The lane will reopen during peak traffic hours in the morning and afternoon each day. Overnight closures are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning.

The closure is expected to be in place during the following times:

Wednesday, Sept 21: Overnight 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. Sept. 22

Thursday, Sept. 22: Lane to reopen by 5 a.m. Closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Overnight 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. Sept. 23.

Friday, Sept. 23: Lane to reopen by 5 a.m. Closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 24: Closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Motorists are asked to use caution and drive slowly when driving in the area during this time.
