Week of March 19, 2018 Landscaping Work on Shoulder of Road

Work will continue March 19, 2018 to replace dead trees along portions of SR 265 in Indiana and KY 841 in Kentucky. Work will continue through Friday March 23, 2018. Crews will be working from the shoulder of the road to load and unload material. Work will be performed in both directions of the road each day. This work will include portions of the Shared Use Path. Some shoulder closures may be performed between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm each day. Motorists are encouraged to use caution while driving through the area for the safety of all.

Friday March 16, 2018 Vegetation Management on SR 265

Vegetation management operations will begin along the shoulders of SR 265 in Indiana on Friday March 16^th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Work will entail the treatment of stone shoulders to prevent weeds and grass from growing next to the paved portion of the roadway. Motorists are advised to watch for work crews in the area and to slow down and give them plenty of room to work safely.
