Kentucky: Lane Restrictions on I-71 May 24

May 20, 2016—There will be lane restrictions on the southbound lanes of I-71 and its associated ramps north of the KY 841 interchange in the vicinity of the East End Crossing construction site May 24 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and again from 9:00 p.m. until 5 a.m. Lane closures will be in place along with periodic traffic stops. Traffic routes will not change. Motorists are asked to use caution and drive slowly when driving in the area during this time.

May 19, 2016 – There will be lane restrictions on SR 62 and its corresponding ramps in the vicinity of the SR 265/ SR 62/ Port Road interchange May 23-28 from 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. each day. The lane restrictions will be in place for about a half mile in each direction of the interchange. Motorists are asked to use caution and drive slowly when driving in the area during this time.

KENTUCKY: Blasting schedule for the week of May 23, 2016

Kentucky: Blasting schedule for week of May 23, 2016: Site blasting is scheduled to occur near the tunnel’s north portal during the week of May 16. These blasts do NOT require traffic stops.

The dates and approximate times (within 20 minutes) will be:

• Monday, May 23, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 24, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 25, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Thursday, May 26, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.
• Friday, May 27, at about 12 p.m. noon and again at about 4 p.m.

NOTE: A message will be posted on the project website at www.kyinbridges.com Thursday of each week regarding the anticipated blasting schedule for the following week.
