Louisville Traffic Update, Ramp closure from I-65 South to Gene Snyder Freeway on June 21 Louisville, KY (June 20, 2014) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists that the exit ramp from southbound Interstate 65 to westbound KY 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will be closed Saturday evening. This ramp closure will allow our traffic section to repair a control cabinet for overhead lighting and replace some wiring. The exit ramp from southbound I-65 to westbound KY 841 (Exit 125) will be closed on Saturday evening, June 21 from 5:00 p.m. until midnight. Motorists should follow the signed detour via eastbound I-265/KY 841 to Smyrna Parkway (Exit 14) and then access westbound KY 841.
