Louisville Traffic Update, Maintenance work on Interstate 265 in Jefferson County June 17 Louisville, KY (June 17, 2014) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of a mobile sweeping operation tonight on Interstate 265 in Jefferson County. KYTC crews will be mechanically sweeping the right lane of I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) in both directions between the Blue Lick Road overpass and the LaGrange Road exit (mile points 11 to 30). This maintenance work will be taking place between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Motorists should slow down in this area and watch for slow moving equipment along the roadway.
