As part of this project, several interstate ramps are being paved this week at the interchanges with Hurstbourne Parkway, Blankenbaker Parkway and I-265. Ramp closures are planned during the evening and overnight hours to accommodate this work. Right 2 lanes Blocked. : The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of bridge deck patching scheduled for this evening on Interstate 64 West in Jefferson County. The left and center lanes of I-64 West will be closed between mile points 17 and 16 to allow for continued repairs at the bridge over Watterson Trail (mile point 16.4). KYTC maintenance crews will be working in this area from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The lane closures will remain in place until midnight to allow the new concrete to cure.

Contract crews will be replacing asphalt joints in the overpass at this location, mile point 136 to 135. The right lane of I-65 South and the entrance ramp at the intersection of First Street and Chestnut Street will be closed on Friday, June 12 and Monday, June 15 from 7:00 p.m. each evening until 5:00 a.m. the following morning. Motorists can utilize the entrance ramp at the intersection of First Street and Jacob Street (one block south) to access I-65 South. Once work in the right lane is complete, crews will move to the left and center lanes on Tuesday evening, June 16. Work at this location is scheduled through Friday evening, June 19.
