Beginning March 13, 2018, crews will be spraying to control weed growth along SR 265 in both directions. Work will continue for the rest of the week each day until complete. Expect to see work being performed from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. Some work involves working immediately next to the roadway. Motorists are reminded to give work crews plenty of room for safety.
Work will begin March 12, 2018 to replace dead trees along portions of SR 265 in Indiana and KY 841 in Kentucky. Work will continue through Friday March 16, 2018. Crews will be working from the shoulder of the road to load and unload material. Work will be performed in both directions of the road each day. Some shoulder closures may be performed between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm each day. Motorists are encouraged to use caution while driving through the area for the safety of all.
