Louisville Traffic Update, Louisville, KY (June 3, 2014) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of a mobile pothole patching operation on Interstate 64 this week in Jefferson County. KYTC crews will be working on both eastbound and westbound I-64 between the Breckenridge Lane overpass and Interstate 265 (mile points 11 and 20). Motorists should expect some intermittent traffic delays in the evenings between 6:30 p.m. and midnight. KYTC crews will be pothole patching on eastbound I-64 in the left and center lane on this evening, Tuesday, June 3. If time and patching materials permit, the crew will move to the westbound lanes of I-64. Crews will complete patching on westbound I-64 in the right and center lane on Wednesday evening, June 4. Motorists should slow down in both of these areas and watch for maintenance staff on or near the roadway.
