Louisville Traffic Update, Eastbound Interstate 264 (Watterson Expressway): Lane closures and delays possible between BreckenridgeLane and the ramp to eastbound Interstate 64 due to sound barrier construction. Lane closures are possibleweeknights from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning and on weekends from 8:00 p.m. on Friday until5:00 a.m. on Monday between mile markers 17.6 and 18.2. Shoulder closures are possible during daytime hours.

Louisville Traffic Update, I-265 sound barrier will be constructed along the eastbound lanes between the Cinderella Lane overpass and the Smyrna Parkway exit ramp. This section of barrier is 0.8-mile in length. Lane closures may be required. This work is scheduled for completion July 1, 2014. Lane closures are possible weeknights and on weekends.Shoulder closures are possible during daytime hours.

I-265 sound barrier will be constructed along the eastbound lanes between the Cinderella Lane overpass and the Smyrna Parkway exit ramp. This section of barrier is 0.8-mile in length. Louisville Traffic Update, I-264 SOUND BARRIER CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN IN JEFFERSON COUNTY Louisville, KY (February 6, 2014) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) recently awarded a contract for sound barrier construction along Interstate 264 in Jefferson County. The barrier will be built on the south side of I-264 (Watterson Expressway) near the Southern Parkway exit (see map below). This 1/2 mile section of concrete barrier will replace an existing wooden barrier between Cliff Avenue and Southern Parkway (mile points 9.5 to 10.0). Contract crews will begin work in mid-February installing work zone signs and clearing the sites of brush and other debris. Lane closures will be limited to weeknights from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning and weekends from 8:00 p.m. on Friday until 5:00 a.m. on Monday. Shoulder closures are possible during daytime hours.
